A.) Who may benefit from the treatment program?

Anyone experiencing hair loss. After a thorough evaluation and diagnosis a laser hair therapy specialist will determine whether or not the program is suitable for you.


B.)What causes hair loss and baldness?

The primary factors are Genetic and Hormonal, but Medications, Post-partum changes, Stress, Menopausal changes and Diet may also influence hair growth and hair loss.


C.) Is the treatment safe?

Yes. Laser Hair Therapy machines have been cleared by the FDA and they meet all the safety standards that are required under the law. The same type of technology has been used in Europe for over 15 years with no reported adverse side effects.


D.) When should I start having laser treatment?

The earlier you start the laser treatment the better. The later you try to do something about your hair loss the less chance there is of reversing the problem.


E.) How long is each treatment?

The treatment program consists of 15 minutes treatments spread over 6-12 months. There is an initial intensive treatment period. Thereafter, treatment is usually once a month.


F.) How soon will I see results?

On average, most people see significant improvement within 4 to 6 months.


G.) What results may I expect?

Individual results may vary, but thicker hair with a reduction or complete stop of hair loss, along with improved hair appearance and texture are the first signs of the effects of the treatment. Many patients may experience hair growth in previously thinning areas.


H.) How does laser effect hair transplants?

Laser assisted transplants have reduced the normal dormant period down from 8 to 10 weeks to 3 to 4 weeks.


J.) Can I take other hair replacement medications and applications along with laser therapy?

Yes, the use of some medications along with laser hair therapy may improve your results . Please consult with your laser hair therapist and let them know about all medications and supplements you are currently taking.


K.) Can I afford this program?

The cost of the program varies upon individual treatments and conditions, but in general, is easily affordable. Your treatment program fee will be determined by your laser hair therapist based on your individual evaluation/diagnosis.


L.) Is LLLT a hot or burning laser?

Absolutely Not! LLLT is a cool white laser that has no burning sensation whatsoever.


M.) Does it have to be a laser?

Laser has shown to be more effective than monochromatic non-coherent light sources. Non-coherent light is not effective in deeper areas.


N.) How deep into the tissue can a laser penetrate?

Laser Hair Care - Laser Hair Therapy typically penetrates a few millimeters into the tissue targeting the area of the hair follicles.
